This year, we celebrate 18 years since the first sale of a vehicle monitoring license, 18 years during which we had the opportunity to evolve and develop new functionalities. These achievements would not have been possible without the support of our customers, who have been our source of inspiration throughout these years.
We have continuously developed our web and mobile applications, which offer much more than simple fleet monitoring: real-time reports, detailed analyses, solutions for fuel consumption efficiency, vehicle and driver management. All this while ensuring a high level of data compliance and security while adhering to GDPR standards. We are the only company in the Romanian specialized market that has its own Customer Care centers and installation teams, both in Europe and Asia. This allows us great flexibility and the capacity to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
From local implementation to international expansion
Eighteen years ago, when we signed the first TrackGPS fleet management contract in Romania, we started with a clear vision: to revolutionize and streamline the way companies monitor and manage their vehicle fleets worldwide. Today, we have customers not only throughout Romania but also in Hungary, the Republic of Moldova, and Indonesia. In all the countries where we operate, we aim to ensure the same high level quality of services and maintain close relationships with our customers, wherever they may be.
When vision meets technology
One of the principles that has driven the development of TrackGPS has been and continues to be innovation. Over time, we have engaged in complex projects aimed at digitizing our clients’ activities by providing specific and relevant information for their operations, as well as interfacing with other systems (TMS, ERP, Payroll, SFA, WM etc.).
A significant part of our strategy has been the development of specific applications for each of the industries in which our clients operate (energy, telecommunications, refrigerated transport etc.), “constantly striving to adapt to the needs of our clients and to grow together with them,” as stated by Ovidiu Bojan, Executive Director of AROBS TrackGPS. He also mentions that “requirements regarding carbon emission reduction, electrification, or the introduction of Electronic Toll Collection solutions, including in Romania, lead towards a future of connected vehicles. To meet any indicators related to sustainability, corporate governance, and driver safety, connected fleets are necessary. AROBS TrackGPS is a partner in the digitization process, with over 18 years of experience in implementing complex projects.”
TrackGPS solutions are grouped into four main pillars: productivity (route planning, basic monitoring, asset tracking), optimization (CAN data, fuel consumption, car sharing), safety (secured transport, video telematics, driver behavior), and compliance (Tacho Analytics, e-Toll, temperature monitoring, private driving, snow removal). In the upcoming period, all efforts will be focused on the large-scale development and implementation of solutions based on 4G and 5G technologies, increasing our presence in the international transport segment, consumption monitoring and CAN data, as well as promoting new solutions: Tacho Analytics, FleetCam, safety driving, and e-Mobility.
